LPC were engaged by an overseas client who distribute quality global  branded foods to determine the optimum materials handling system for a new multi-temperature facility. The project covered warehouse processes from receipt through putaway to picking, assembly, packing and despatch, optimum sizing of chambers, storage layout and appropriate fork truck specifications.

Alternative storage concepts were developed ranging from conventional wide aisle and narrow aisle racking and shuttle racking with budget costs provided with the agreed solution supported with technical specifications for tendering purposes.

Additional support was provided to enable the optimum loading dock solution for a mix of commercial vehicles and ancillary logistics related equipment.

The project concluded with LPC snagging and commissioning the installation for handover to the client.
